Berkshire Museum 2011

The refrence point for two of the installations is the landscape and specifically the midwest prairie. Prairie restoration was my project on five acres in Michigan and the large open spaces and the Prairie Dock plant became the central elements in Salvage/savage and The Landscape We Make.

Three Oaks Is the memory of oak trees being replaced by vinyl sided homes and consists of abstracted oak shadow forms made of pastel vinyl siding.

Aunt Ann Goes fishing is an installation of discovered photographs attached to a skeleton of a small boat hull. The black and white photos cover a life span of a passionate fisherwoman from the age of 19 to 80.
